There are so many there that if I had foster homes I would pull them, they are highly adoptable... That flat coated retriever is absolutely beautiful.... from her coloring I wonder if she's mixed w/Rottweiler, but it looks like her size and coat is the retriever.

Thanks! She is a love bug. She is a rescue from Tri-County and she was 5 months old and just skin and bones when we got her. Here is her earlier picture. Her head was huge compared to her little body.

I thought so too. I would like for them to be more detaiiled in their ads. Such as how they came up with some of the different names as well as the dog's social and health status. Some people may look at a dog and assume that they are more work because they seem to be disabled. It's not always true.

Some healthy looking dogs tend to have illnesses that require an owner to be committed to caring properly for the animal, financially stable to afford whatever special care is required as well as available to physically care for them. Looks can be deceiving but details alleviate that.

I went to the shelter this evening after work and the Bichon was adopted. They got in a 7 mos old pitt today, sweet little thing. Poor baby was so skinny and frightened. Em and I gave her some love.

The yellow looked to be a pure lab but the black one maybe a mix or maybe younger then 8 wks, not sure. THey were owner give ups due to eviction. County has to hold them for 10 days so they will be available on Sat March 15.

It is sad, we are planning to go back for the 7 mos pitt. They had to keep her there till Monday. We hated to put her back because she was so scared. The girl there did put in a towel for her to sleep on in the meantime.
Come Monday my hubby is gonna be maybe a tad bit annoyed with me, but he'll get over it!!
