I also hate that they have changed the age a child enrolls in school (has to be 5 by Sept. 1 to start kindergarten) so now all children are going to be going into their senior year already 18 so it will be out of the parents hands. I think it will only make the drop out rate increase.

You might consider checking your math on that one, skippy. If we leave out kids set back or otherwise delayed, they would all be 17 on Sept. 1 of their senior year. About 75% will be 18 at graduation.

DUH! I won't tell you what I do for a living hehehehe. I still think they should have left it age 5 by December, would have made the odds better anyway.

Another cop out. In your world of excuses either the government doesn't let you parent, or your kids were born knuckleheads. Either way, it's not your fault. I hope you don't have kids with that attitude.

Wait a minute. I actually know people who were decent parents and came away with dip#### kids anyway. And I also know parents who should have been locked up and their children given to humans, and the kids turned out to be great.

so most of the time, yes, it's the parents' fault. But sometimes you just get a bad seed, regardless of how good a parent you are. And it is a lot tougher these days with all the bad influences of the media and peers.
