We used to go to Gatlingburg all the time and saw several bears. One time a bear was standing on its back feet eating out of a trash can. I tried to get a picture but was so scared, the camera kept shaking so I never got it. It was too close for comfort.

Was at the store, and again marveled on Sunday at all the atheists and pagans shopping while all the Christians were keeping Holy the Sabbath.

To matters worse, I was using the car as protection (the car was between me and the bear). Husband thought it would be funny to pull the car ahead with me standing outside of it. Granted, he only pulled it up a small distance but I nearly crapped myself when it happened.

Least we not forget that is was the church that commandeered the pagan rituals and practices of the past. Even Christmas and Easter, (renamed), were/are Pagan celebrations yet were adopted by the church in an attempt to appease and convert pagans. What's the old saying? "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?":)

The hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church follows the bureaucracy of the Roman Empire, including the titles.
