So, I'm an idiot...

There's a button called 'dome override' left of the steering wheel. Push it once, it turns the dome light on and off. Press it 4 times and you turn off the headlights. 4 more pushes turns them back on.

On my 2002 if you hit the dome over ride button 4 times the lights go off and are controlled by the light switch.

Ever get that feeling that you're talking to yourself? I do..... :ohwell:

I guess I will have to try this when it is light outside.

... :stupid:

I know, I know, hard to believe but, it's true.

2010 Tundra and for a year and a half now, I've been telling myself the headlights, the low beams, aim too low and I need to tell them about it next service, get it fixed. Never remember.

I pull up on the carport, listening to the radio for a few minutes and just sitting there, fiddling about and a button on the lower left dash that I've looked at however many dozens, or hundreds, of times that I always assumed was the fog lights...has a little dial next to it...so...I look a little closer. Huh. Maybe that is the dash light brightness nob? No, no...that is elsewhere, over here so, WTF?

A little, dim bulb comes on in my head...you don't suppose (not you, me, this was me thinking to myself) and, sure as hell...I turn the headlights on, can see them fine on the wall (it's dark and rainy and all) it's a low beam angle adjuster thingy dial. Up, up, up! Down, down, down...

So, I feel like an idiot. For now. Or, maybe I am a great, if somewhat excessively deliberate, discover-er of things!
