The same thing hit me. Drop a video at 7:00am. The man is not up to making an in-person announcement. Maybe they didn't think anybody would attend. I'm sure Steny would have bused some union members in.
PRETTY SURE they've said he either doesn't get up until 9 or at least, doesn't begin the work day until nine.
Which makes it pretty damned ridiculous when he calls a lid at 10.

Damn Limblips. It has already started. Maybe not from his Rehoboth basement, but he is in hiding.
He didn't show up for the announcement, it was pre-recorded. Don't expect to see him campaigning, some nasty reporter might ask him a question. Running for President with his record should mean a shoo- in for anyone running against him, but the people who are actually running the country need him as their goat.. As long as early voting and mail-in ballots are the way of running an election we will never again see an honest election.

The democrats are basically backing a man who is suffering from Dementia.
A man who probably will die a natural death before reaching 86---the age he would be at the end of his term.
Of course it is pretty certain that somehow they will dump Kamala---but then she can act as goat instead of Biden.---maybe they won't.
Why don't the democrats want primary debates?
The answer seems apparent. Joe Biden cannot stand up to debating scrutiny.
Why would any party interested in saving our country back a man for President in Joe Biden's condition?
Because they are not interested in saving America, they are interested in lining their pockets.

80% of Americans are racist. No, homophobic. Wait, misogynist. That's not it, either. Oh, I know, islamophobic. Don't tell me; I'll get it....
You'd THINK that with all Americans being such horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE people, tourists and migrants the world over would avoid this place.
Perhaps some Americans need to travel, interact with actual people abroad instead of tours and see what happens. There are nations with people who are kind and accommodating. But there are many where being gay means you'll not just be beaten or killed - but the police might be doing it. Where women in the culture are treated like crap - and some of these countries, you might consider modern. Where being of a different race - the people attack and mistreat members of another race - and there's no law against it. In these countries - racism is considered - NORMAL.
In this country, for many or most, some of these labels are considered shameful enough to incentivize people to change.
Enough that opportunists have decided to manipulate others by labelling EVERYTHING as racist, homophobic, misogynistic or islamophobic. It is a testament to basic GOODNESS in Americans, that they let people do this - in too much of the rest of the world, it would have crossed the line long ago.
I was thinking about this this past weekend. Apparently we've got one of the crappiest school system ever, but where does the entire world want to go abroad for school.
It's an easy degree.
I don’t think anyone wants to go to the United States for grade or high school. In THAT we are far behind but for one HUGE thing —-
Many countries, school is very different from ours. Some education isn’t available for everyone. Others are set along a track at an early age - we have more or less a cookie cutter one size fits all approach.
Comparisons often don’t make any sense because the pool of students is not the same.
