I think the drive south on Rt 5/Point Lookout Road between Beachville Road and the firehouse is gorgeous. The tangerine maples are my favorite.

Any other particularly pretty spots?

I drove from Piney Point to Budd's Creek (via 249, 5 and 234) and then across to 5 again on Thompson Corner Rd. Beautiful colors all along the way.

And 4 yr old grandson is looking for "spooky"roads.

He loves Blacksmith Shop off of St Andrews. Trees over the road, making it dark even on a sunny day. The dilapidated barn is the clincher for Spooky Road.

That is a spooky road when you add the crazed lady that lives on it.

For your consideration ...

I just wish they would drop already just like in the movie The Meaning of Life. So when I'm hunting for that trophy buck, I can see further from the tree stand without the obstruction of those darn leaves.

My youngest granddaughter used to love riding on Moll Dyer Rd. Every time she spent the weekend with me, we had to visit the "Rock" and drive down that road.
