Oh yeah, did anybody watch the "John Kerry movie" before the speech? There were some interesting omissions. They left out his education at the Swiss boarding school, any information about his first wife, and the minor detail of the two decades as a Senator.
Also, there was the film footage from Vietnam. They have been accused of staging some of the footage. I'm not saying that's true, but watching the footage did leave me with some questions regarding its authenticity. First, while under fire, why didn't the cameraman put down the camera and pick up a gun (keep in mind that the cameraman was a soldier, not a reporter). Second, why did the rounds land in the water so short of the boat? Were the Vietnamese that bad at aiming that their shots land 100ft from the target (a boat)?
