Yes. We now make nothing the world wants other than exporting our inflation, our energy and natural resources, and bombs and bullets. In addition, the way our education system is currently, there is no way such a facility could be staffed. And if there were to be built such a facility, the H-1B visa program would need to be substantially increased to import the required amount of educated people. Btw, Taiwan is also a buffer State between Japan. Just like Ukraine is, was, supposed to be a buffer State between Russia and NATO member nations.
In that scenario, they want our dollars. There is *always* a way to profit in the modern economy.
