Any recommendations as to where I can buy SOD in the Calvert County area? I'm also interested in delivery. I miss my truck! I found Central Sod Farms in Annapolis and was going to order 600 sq feet but when I added delivery it doubled the price.

not in calvert, but there are 2 sod farm's in Waldorf..
you could try them.

Hubby maintains an estate in Calvert and he gets his sod from CD Raley (301-481-3064). He orders in bulk though! He said to try Meadow's Farm in Leonardtown.

We used Central Sod Farms to northern Calvert. I believe it was cheaper for us to order a little more sod than we were originally going to get, in order to get either free or for it to be much more inexpensive for delivery. It might have been 1000 sq. ft. though, so that might be much more than you are looking for. They were definitely the cheapest that I called anywhere around here.
