If you want an excellent meal (and not afraid to pay a fair price) make a reservation for Dry Dock. CD's damn good as well but when it comes to seafood, the chef at the Dry Dock has the touch. I've had the crab cakes as well as the scallops - the leftovers heated up 3 days later still good. :D

How about the Tiki Bar. It's great. Bikers, loud motorcyles, obnoxious drunks, and free bowls or stale popcorn. Occasionally you'll see a fight break out and they don't even charge you to see it.

Where abouts is it? I looks like I'm going to have to check it out this weekend.
Across the street from the big farm. Avondale Center. Two story building with green awnings.

Stoney's for Seafood

Di Giovanni's for Italian and ambiance

The Pier for relaxed atmosphere

Don't forget CD's Cafe - good food, great dessert, and most important EXCELLENT Martini's!! :howdy:

Which restaurant in Solomon's is THE BEST?

Question B...which should be avoided???

Dry Dock

Almost everything else (except CD Cafe) for some reason or another (ex: over-priced, lousy service, bad food).

The Pier is my favorite because the food is good, the service is great and you can sit outside on the deck.

:yeahthat: Not the most spectacular food, but there's nothing like sitting out on the back deck looking at the water while eating Rockfish Bites with a cold, frosty beverage. :yum:

Dry Dock and CD Cafe are also excellent. :yay:

I enjoy Stoney's at Broomes Island. Service is usually okay..food is decent but you can't beat the location.
