Whats wronge with Middleton Hall?
Nothing, it can be gorgeous. My senior prom was held there, and I went to a wedding reception there last week. But I don't know why, with 25k, they are restricting the ceremony to that location.

Because not everyone is religious or wants their ceremony in a church. The room to the far left (with the stairway) makes an awesome room for a ceremony ... a bridal party could make a very nice entrance coming down those steps ... assuming they don't trip and fall down 'em, of course.
