Growing up in PG county, I learned that if you wanted a fight, pretty much any black kid will do. They are taught, from day 1, to stand up for themselves. This sort of idiocy can have but ONE response with a black kid, period. White kids, on the other hand, are not taught to stand up for themselves anymore and if you want to get in a fight with a white kid, it take, on average, a good bit more effort. You can prank and punk us a lot further than you can a black kid.
On the other hand, I admire this kids tenacity and shear stupid balls to keep trying this. Either he lost one hell of a bet or he is truly dedicated to his art. You can NOT just shut a guy down once we are in fight mode.

You disagree with the basic point, that, in general, white kids are not taught to, physically, stand up for themselves as readily as black kids?

I am white and I was taught to stand up for myself and I can't speak for the black population. How is this a race issue? You either take harassment in your face from a stranger or you don't. None of my friends (white or black) would put up with this crap.

That was not the point, what I would do or what YOU would do. The point was, specifically, the difference between what a black kid is raised, in general, to do and what a white kid is raised, in general, to do.
You line up 10 random black guys and every single one of them is going to respond physically, almost right away. You grab 10 white guys and some of them are going to respond, physically, right away, some of them are going to simply be stunned and do nothing and some of them are going to laugh.
You disagree?
Yeah, g'wan down to Ridge or the 7th and test that theory with one of the local white boys and see what happens.
On the other hand, pretty sure Will or Aaron or Jordan wouldn't immediately punch someone out for something like what these dip####s are doing. It's not a race thing and "black culture" encompasses many behaviors.
I disagree. Line up 10 middle to upper class suburban kids of any color and you're not going to get much of a reaction. Line up 10 hardscrabble kids of any color and you'll get your ass kicked. It has nothing to do with race.

I grew up in Laurel and EVERY black kid I knew was taught, from day one, how to box. The Pumpkin Hill rough kids. The Laurel poor kids. The kids whose dads had good jobs and lived in the suburbs. Even Big Gay Jerome, the dancing bear, could box. If you went up to any one of them and did that, they would, reflexively, put 'em up. The white kids, yes, there were the Laurel tough kids, trailer park, white trash, whatever, that would react the same way. Most of the West Laurel or Montpelier kids were not raised to react that way. Some would, absolutely, hit you. Some would be stunned and some would burst out laughing.
In my experiences, later in life as an electrician, same thing. Mess with a black guy and they are, at minimum, going to be ready to go, right away. White guys, a variety.
What would I do? I really don't know. I have responded right away to provocations in my life and gotten into it. I have been stunned and I have burst out laughing. if someone told me 'Hey! I know! Let's go provoke a bunch of young males and see how they react! It will be fun!" I would respond, if you want to get your ass whipped, every time, do it to black boys. If you want a variety of reactions, do it to white boys.

This vid isn't just 'in the hood'. It's all over the place so, we're talking about a variety of black guys ALL giving the same reaction. Whereas you've already agreed you're gonna get a variety of reactions from white kids.
