Chancellors Run was a mess. Both churches de-tented. Trampoline stuck in tree. Lights out at Great Mills & 5 and Flat Iron & 5.

Nothing to see here
We got enough rain to say the deck was wet. Most of the rain was in lusby/solomons area from what I hear.

Looks like the roof I was going to pay for is going to be on State Farm.

Damn. I used to hate storms when I lived in my house with that big ass old tree right up next to it.

Who remembers when Mike had a tree crash through his roof and take out his living room?
That's when he gave up on his weather machine.

I saw some pictures of tree damage on Solomon's Island.

I've got one big-assed sweet gum tree that threatens the whole house, should it come down. I've got to hire a tree service before it does and causes major damage.

Watch out Md is one of those states that will only do 1 side of your roof if the other is not damaged..Look up Paramount property solutions he will get it done I had the same situation a couple years ago and I also got all new gutters

For your consideration ...

After they pay to replace your roof, expect your home owners insurance to go up next renewal by at least 40%.
Travelers replaced mine 2 years ago and the rates didn't go up at all. My son had flood damage that was covered and State Farm paid over $14K to fix the damages. His rates didn't go up at all either.

My roof is so old I'd be happy they paid anything. I was actually going to pay for a new one this fall.

We had a large branch take out part of a corner of our roof a few years ago. State Farm told us to just get the whole roof new shingles on them. House was a little over 20 years old so it was probably due and we were happy we didn't have to foot the bill.

They are doing the same to my dad in Florida.
Update…after my dad had independent roofing inspectors and State Farm adjusters to come out and inspect his roof and provide testament that roof was in great condition and had plenty of life left I. It State Farm. Notified him they were renewing his homeowners policy.
