I don't have my own kids, but I have always thought Bette Midler's Baby Mine was a really sweet song.

I made one up to the tune that is played on her aquarium that is hooked to her crib.

Simple, but everytime either of us sing it- she drifts off to sleep- or calms down immediately- even to this day.

I make a song out of just about everything with her

Lately my favorite has been

She's become bratty

I'm a dork though because sometimes when I think about her during the day I catch myself singing the little songs I make up for her. They think I'm strange at work but they also know I'm super obsessed with my girl.

My husband also makes up his own songs for her, I can't think of them right now, but he has a few really cute ones he sings to her.
