2003 Honda CBR1100XX Black Bird, last year Big Red imported 'em. Smoothest bike I've ever ridden, and surprisingly docile around town. Comfort, quality fit and finish, and still makes most other bikes look silly when the tach needle sweeps past 7K. Its great to live where I can ride all 12 months of the year.

Brother-in-law used to have one of them. Not sure what year though. I think it was the first year you could get them.

I took a ride to Solomons, did the loop around the island, and got waved down after I told my daughter that I'd "be there in 10 minutes".. So got done talking to them when someone else walks aroung the corner.. Mark from CRABS.. Chesapeake Riding and Beverage Society... we know each other by reputation, and what we do as far as picnics, BBQ parties, etc, but didn't know each other by sight.. so we stopped and talked probably for another 30 minutes (found out he tried to get the same seat I got from Morton's but they told him no) So needless to say I got to my kids house late, which in turn means I got to Woodburns late, so they couldn't make my sushi for me.. ended up going to Okada and getting 20 pieces of Sushi to go.. it was FANTASTIC.. then cruised home just before dark.
