I am sorry to have to do this but since I am still getting calls about a post somseone put on here awhile back its time I clear the air.
I am the former cheerleading coordinator that someone posted about. This person was wondering I would sue them, well here is what happened. I got call from a collection agency saying that I owed them quite a bit of money for unpaid cheerleading windsuits. The last windsuit I ordered for my daughter was paid immediately with a CC. I had no idea what they were talking about. I called the company and discovered it wasn't me but someone else with the organization and since my name was also listed on the organization when they could not get the person to pay, my name plus another persons got attached to the bill. The person who's name was onthe bill was paid by her parents for the windsuits, she even told me last year how much she charged them. So if her parents paid her and then she paid the company I would have never been contacted. Where did the money go? I received the collection call almost a year after the order was delivered.
How would you feel if you were not with a organization and your name had been tagged to a collection account? Yes I was hot, called her president and the county over this. The reason for the treaten to sue was to get my name cleared, all we wanted from this person was a letter clearing my name from her bill, which was like pulling teeth to get from her. When I finally got the letter it was very generic without her name or signature. So there was no way to prove that she even wrote me the letter to clear me. I dont think I was asking for much, a simple letter clearing my name off her uncollected account. I did not want anything going to the credit agency about this and if it did I wanted to have the letter to send to the credit agency.
I just wanted to finally clear this up. I have received so many emails and copies of her posting that I decided to post what happened on my end.

I again apologize for posting but figured since she put her business out there to begin with.........
I am hoping that everyone will see that I am not a DIVA as I was referred to but someone who does not want to be responsible for someone else's bills. :buttkick:

People will do that to you and collectors do not care who pays as long as someone does. I don't know the whole situation so I won't judge it but I hope it works out for you.

I remember Fingerhut sent me a collection bill for someplace I use to live, 2 years after I had moved. I was able to show my lease and prove my innocence. I wish they wouldn't send those out with people's names on it.

Then when I bought the house, within a year I got a letter from Washington Gas threatening to send me to collections because my bum of an ex-slumlord kept the gas going in my old apartment in my name. In addition, I had Washington Gas send my final bill to my new house. :bigwhoop:

I had to send so many things to clear my name and he never returned my calls. Luckily I had the walk-thru and security deposit refund report as proof of when I left along with my note for the house.

Ok, I have to ask... WTF does the bunny stand for?

I think it means this is as dumb as a bunny that can balance a pancake on its head.

I can't remember the name of the bunny but it's famous for balancing things on it's head. :bigwhoop:
