Not that I'm defending the original chick that had the credit dispute but how is it her fault that the company linked you to her account and held you liable? To me I think I'd be spreading mud about the company just as much as I was about the slacker bill payer.Redskinsmama said:

I recently had an old credit card (from another bank) that was closed 2.5 years ago show up on my BoA account. I called and apparently it was never closed and somehow BofA ended up with the old account. I was a co on the account, so it should have shown up on my ex's account, not mine. It has been dormant for the whole time. I could have kept it, it was worth 36k, but I had them close it for good.
