South Korea fines Microsoft $32 million

The Korea Fair Trade Commission has fined Microsoft $32 million (33 billion won) for abusing its market dominant position, and ordered the software giant to modify the way it packages its Windows products.


If Microsoft pays this debt, the country will be worth $32,000,001

Last time I was in Korea, the wife was pregnant and I was stocking up on tailor made clothes in anticipation of getting out of the Navy. Was talking to her on the Army phone system (your call can get "bumped" if someone with a higher priorty code wanted to make a call) and had just said "Send more money, I lost 5,000 in a poker game last night" when I got bumped.
Spent the next several hours trying to get back thru to explain to a hormonal woman that it was 5,000 won (about $0.78) and I was spending the money on clothes
