The downside to TAP is you have to scorekeep every shot for both players then compare with the other team after the match. Another frustrating thing about TAP some people are much better than they are ranked and it takes a long time before some are elevated to a new rank.

You will find the ranking problem with any nationally handicapped league.

There is also a handicapped 9 ball league on Wednsday nights at the Tavern in St. Leonard. It is an inhouse league, and since we do the handicaps weekly it has made for very fair matches.

What I really like about it is that it is a short night, most nights we are finished by 9:00 p.m.
