I heard about that one too. do you know where it is?
go past casey jones (going towards outback) and it is on the right hand side just past the coca cola building. Sorry i am not sure of the name. One of my customers has been 7 times since he found it 3 weeks ago, he said the seafood soup is to die for. Hope you go and enjoy it.

If by "Spanish" you mean Tapas places; there's Jaleo up in DC (I think they opened one in Crystal City, too).

I would think that DC would have the largest variety. If you are looking for Mexican, then Mexico restaurant in Waldorf is actually pretty good. If you like steak then the Jalisco Especial is outstanding. They also Have a dish called Camarones Yucatecos which is outstanding as well. Its shrimp and vegetables with a little bit of spice. Very good.

Getting in the door on a Friday evening is pretty easy too.

I believe there is another on 7th St, just across the street from the Verizon Center.

I believe that she's referring to Spanish food (which is why she specifically said "Spanish restaurant"). Terbear is not ethnically challenged, if knowledge of Spanish culture is what you are referring to.

El Dorado has an incredible crab stuffed salmon in a saffron sauce. I believe they have their liquor license now too. If their parking lot is full, I park in the Bank of Southern Maryland parking lot (since it's usually after hours when I go).

I was in fact speaking of Spanish food as in from Spain. only the truly ethnically challenged don't understand that "Spanish" means "from Spain" Mexicans may speak Spanish but they themselves are not Spanish.

Its a little bit of drive if you are in St. Mary's but Jalapeno's in Annapolis is a great Spanish restaurant. They must have 40 differents Tapas and four differt styles of Paella and if you have a party of 6 or more you can order a suckling pig :yum:
