I have had great success (much better than with his speech therapist) with the program "Your Baby Can Read." It is a reading plus speech program. My son has gained so many words using this system. We sit and watch the videos and work with the game cards together. I purchased mine off of e-bay for about $60. It truly does help. Also, speech cards and speech card games help too.
