Spider ID PLEASE

hmmmmmm
That right there is a beautiful Wolf spider with an egg sac. I'm sure you already figured it out. They make good pets for a few days but without and egg sac as son and I have found out.

After her babies hatch she will carry them on her back, if you happen to step on her then her babies will scatter, not fun.

I love wolf spiders, also nursery web spiders as well. They can bite if threatened but not venomous.

But I'm sure you already know all this, I came in late on this thread :ohwell:

Thats is a wolf spider. Was your porch light on when you saw her? Pretty much on any given night if my porch light is on I will see more than one of these hunting the bugs that are attracted to the light.

Edit: I see I was a late on the answer.

I just had to tell you this: Last night, I got into bed...hubby was already asleep. I layed on my side..and started watching Tv. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw what I thought was a shadow. When I turned my head, there was a spider crawling on my shoulder! :yikes: Needless to say, I slept in another room that night.

OMFG, I would have shat me britches! :faint:
One time when I was younger, I was just falling asleep and I felt a tickle, I jumped up threw the comforter across the room, lept off the bed to turn on the light, for a little bitty house spider. I don't know why they freak us out so, we don't mind when we eat them in our sleep, lol!
