I would try WD40 also. I used that to get tar stains off my car and it worked like a dream.

Lots of work ahead of you though :yay:

Was this right in front of the new Century 21 building heading south on 235? I noticed something in the road last evening but couldn't make out what it was.

Thanks for all of the advice everyone. I used WD40 to take care of most of it, then got the rest off with the high pressure wash in Leonardtown. I also used detailing clay to get rid of a lot of the grit left over. I guess the paint was pretty soft because it came off really easy with the high pressure water. I am going to put some compound, polish, and wax on it this weekend with my orbital polisher so make it look smooth again since there is a little hazing. Once again thanks for all the help!

EDIT for jaybeetz: Yes it was that spot, it looked like a lot of other people went through it when it was wet too so Im sure there are other people out there with the same problem.

I saw that mess on the road today...there were at least 12 different car/truck tracks that ran through it.

Take it to the car wash and hit it with the high pressure water and then wash it normally to get any dirt and grit off, then take clear coat safe polishing compound to it. If you dont wash it first you will just end up grinding grit into your paint. Polishing compound works wonders around the house too.

Agree! It's more than likely latex based so high pressure should help!
