I might have. I was on the phone when I got out of the car with keys in hand. My son was still in the car and has no idea if he did any of the things you described. I was panicking with the fob and probably made matters worse. It hasn't happened since yesterday so I'm chalking it up to an electronics snafu. I really HATE all the fancy pants things on cars now. I don't want it to tell me things that I don't want to know about. Stresses me out.Did you lock the door when you got out? If someone inside opens the door after its locked, the alarm goes off and will stop if you use the fob to lock then unlock. Not a battery issue at all. Not the panic button either, so pushing the panic button doesn't stop it. I have had that happen multiple times. Not sure why its an anti-theft device if someone is IN the car.
I believe there is a business on SGI that understands that Speek and Spell Verbage.Well then, the only other thing has to be magneto-capacitive-reluctance on the part of the grammeter.

This is the answer, my Ford did this to me once.Did you lock the door when you got out? Gremlins.Got home this afternoon, got out of the car with the keys, left my son in there - he was still gathering his things together.
Car alarm went off, you know that car alarm thing that comes with the car and normally turns off with the fob, nothing I added at all. I hit the button on the fob and it wouldn't turn off. Kept pressing the button and it finally turned it off. For less than a minute. Then it went off again. I finally got it shut off again and it was off for a few minutes then it went off again. Turned it off again and it stayed off.
Minutes later I decided to go see my BF, well mostly his dog. Went out to the car, opened the door, and the alarm goes off and it won't shut off again. Finally got that to shut off but the engine won't turn over. Tried a few times, all the dummy lights are on, but the car won't turn on. Called my BF and he told me to look it up. I don't know what it's called in my 700 page book but it's not Alarm, warning or anything that would make sense. He said get out of the car, lock your door with the key, unlock it with the key and try to turn it over again.
It worked, but WTF car people? Why did that work?
Naaaa, ****ing Decepticons!!!Gremlins.
