The sad thing is about the fashion industry is that I am considered fat and I am a size 4 (well not tall enough either. You have to be at least 5'9" for a female model). Even one of my ex-co-workers who is pretty hot. She is 5'10" and probably 110 and around a size 2/4 is "big" because is not a 0 or less.

1. This was back in 2010. We've come a long ways in "plus size" fashion in the past five years.

2. Fox and ABC didn't want to air it during Dancing with the Stars and American Idol. While I don't condone them picking a VS ad over a Lane Bryant ad for that time slot, it's still a double standard...but it was never a full out BAN.

Where you thinking more along these lines?

:lmao: Not quite.

When I hear "Plus Size" this is more the image that springs to mind.

The "plus size" model in SI, I would say, falls within the realm of "average size" or maybe even "full figured" - although my head packs more meat on the "full figured" moniker as well.

BTW, is that a Diet Coke sitting next to her?

Diet Beverages and Junk food cancel each other out!
