S'posed To Get My New Dash Cam Today

Obama destroyed America
Along with an embedded trackable GPS to see if they really went where they said they were going.

I know I always did when I drove the familymobile, right? Never, ever, deviated from my assigned path........
Why a GPS if you're recording everything? Just watch the tape.

Wow, sorry, but if you are that worried about people recording you walking through a parking lot, I think you are little bit too paranoid. They could just as easily do so by pretending to talk into their phone holding it in front of their face like a lot of people do.

Hell, people could memorize you :cds:

People get screwed in traffic accidents all the time, they really do. Eyewitnesses suck, the police don't have time machines. Of course, I run a dash cam app myself, despite having never been in a traffic accident beyond being rear ended.

So now I have to worry about every car that MIGHT have a camera in it? No, sounds creepy. As a woman I don't want to have to worry about every car in a parking lot that is running "Oh is it running because they are filming?"

You should be more worried about the creepers who take up-skirt pictures of women.....

See Post #21

You don't know me. Yet you sit there and say sh*t like this?? REALLY??

If I was one to do as you elude to; which I am not; I certainly would not imply or otherwise make those intentions public.

So, why did you say that that is what I intend to do?

Dude, you are definitely a creeper.

The only way this camera would be interesting to watch is if someone stole your ride and drove it off a cliff or bridge... if the tape survived it'd be worth wasting a few minutes of time...

See? You're another one that is out in left f**kin' field somewhere.
HOW is coverin' your own a** anything other than that?

In an accident investigation, the first thing that is tediously established is fault. With a dash camera, it's "on tape." Thus there is no reason for someone who shows up after the fact to guess.

You folks with your, 'Oh, he's gonna use the camera to look up skirts.....WHERE the H*ll does that come from, when you don't know me?
And, I've said before.....if I was the type to do that, WHY would I broadcast it on a public forum?
Many of you just like to see the crap you spew in print, is MY guess.

Now a word of advice. If ya don't want to be caught on camera, stay out of the field of view. Heh??

For the record, I never said you would use it to look up skirts.

I said she should worry more about those guys, than you using a dashcam.

I'm all for dashcams.

you don't need to explain yourself.

I know I don't need to explain myself; it's just nice to have it on record as having been said.

Deekay, i say go for it, may help you out one day, guy swerves over and hits you, bam you got the video. Policeman pulls you over for running a red light bam you got the video. You get pulled over for swerving late at night, by a fishing expedition policeman, bam you have the video that shows you were not swerving. Don't see a problem with it at all. The counties and the state and the feds are putting up cameras everywhere, don't see a problem at all with law abiding citizens setting up dash cams in their personal vehicles. One quick question though, does it have audio recording capabilities?? If so may open up another big can of worms. Haven't seen a dash cam yet that looks up young ladies skirts.

Some do, some dont, but as long as you let the officer know right at the outset, "Officer, you should be aware that I have an audio recording device active right now, it;s built into my dash-cam".

Yes, it does. IMO, the addition of audio recording further enhances the usefulness of the camera should anything become a legal matter.

Upon being pulled over:
Officer: "Do you know why I stopped you?"
Me: "Do you know this traffic stop is being recorded?"
No, really.....
Me: "No sir, I don't know." "I must tell you that this stop is being recorded."
Officer: "Well, you need to turn off the camera."
Me: "Uuummm.....no, don't think so."

I see the point of the camera now... it may record the first intelligent thing you say or do... but lets not hold our breath on that one.
