I wanna be a SMIB
Wish I could take them all, I just loves me some new kittens. If only someone would make a minature cat to stay the size of a kitten, I would be the old lady at the end of the road with 100 cats. I hope you find them all homes.

...they'll be barn cats and I will continue to not have a mouse problem and the fox around here will get his share and all will be in harmony.

...exactly, would one go about putting a cat 'to sleep'? More importantly, how would one know if it worked or not?

Don't worry about that. Just say you're going to do it and you'll have new homes for all the kitties within an hour.

No. But I will say that you should take her to be spayed..and return her to the barn.
