It really depends on the day because when I go up to the Deli, they have quite a few peeps in the Pub. Lunchtime always seems to be a decent crowd in there.

It really depends on the day because when I go up to the Deli, they have quite a few peeps in the Pub. Lunchtime always seems to be a decent crowd in there.
The owners doesn't want to "change" anything including thier menu.
It's sad to say but I miss Bill & Denise. They seemed to want to embrace the afternoon, evening business. The tri owner in place now just don't seem to be into the nightlife aspect. Very nice people though. It was nice to have a place to go hear a great band that wasn't filled with youngblood T-boppers.

I know who they are. Yeah, they are very nice. They used to do breakfast brunch every Sunday. However, the food are always cold, so I stopped going.
As I stated the lunch crwod must keep them afloat. I go that way five days a week on the way home from work at 6pm. The most cars I have seen there in months was last friday. I know one of the cook's there and asked her last week. She said the crowd was due to a going away party

No I used to work at the place that is now Charlie's and would frequent there at times. Only been a few times in the last two years though.

I remember you from Mattie's...it's sad that St James doesn't do well at night...I met some of the nicest people in St Mary's County in there. Actually, come to think of it, most of the people I still talk to down there I met at St. James...

We also have not been into the Pub lately. Of course we don't go out much either.
But when we do, it's to the FRA (cheap) and then south (home and safer). Maybe a quick bite at Charlies. (We love his fried schrooms. Their really nothing special other then he makes and cleans up the mess from cooking them!!) Then home we go.
We love D & company @ the pub. But it lost it's appeal to us when the 'fun' bartender's left. Then they raised the drink prices and the menu is just too too old and boring. 'nuff said.

I work with her sister. From what I hear all is good. She was up last month as she was here to see her first grandchild last month.
