Just to let you all know, Calvert County has called St. Mary's County Fire Departments of Bay District (Co. 9), and Hollywood (Co. 7), for a House Fire on Solomons Island Road.

The Current temperature is 35.8 degrees. Roads are fine at this time. As Rush hour gets closer, there could be a chance for a couple of Incidents through St. Mary's County.

Dan, there is a good chance for a couple of incidents during rush hour every day. Those manly cops should be able to handle it tho.

Yeah really! Why is that Lt. Dan? My lil WeatherBug says it 34 degrees at Leaonardtown MS.

Weatherbug is not the most accurate weather feature you can have, as to my weather modules and equipment. I have the correct temperature to where i am at in Leonardtown.

Channel 9 says we missed the first part of the storm.

Storm Misses Region Today, Part Two Comes Tonight

(WUSA) - A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Washington Metro from 6pm Thursday until 9am Friday. Light snow across southern Maryland and parts of central Virginian left a dusting of snow in those areas, but the bulk of the moisture has stayed well south and east of the area. We're expecting not much more than a few flurries through this evening.

For tonight, a second batch of moisture heads this way. This appears to be a little stronger so we expect some snow, sleet and freezing rain to be falling during the overnight into Friday morning. Accumulations are expected to be an inch or less, but even a little bit of freezing rain can cause some big problems.

This "storm" was always expected to be a one-two punch, but the first punch was a swing and a miss, now we wait for punch #2.

I type fast too, but I have enough sense to proof my work.
