~LEGS FOR DAYS~
I was lucky and never lost mine. My sisters phone works but you can't hear the other person, there's alot of static. She called and they said they can't get someone out there until Sept. 18th!

Phone line going across my driveway has been drooping down since an hour after the storm started. I have 2 inches of clearance between my side mirror and the line. It was reported to Verizon within an hour of it happening. Supposedly they are sending someone out to "look" at it tomorrow. :ohwell:

Ours went out briefly the day of the storm. It's hard to believe that there are still places with phone lines above ground, but then again, this is St. Marys county. We have been told that the chance of us ever getting DSL in our area (just north of Dameron) is non existent, even though there are places south of us that have it. WTF.

Even RIDGE has DSL... You must REALLY be out in the boonies..

Yeah. I get put on hold for 45 minutes. It's all just a damn scam to ring up my cell bill. I never get to talk to a live person. If they don't show up tomorrow, I'll have to go another route. Is there place that I can report it to? It has to be some sort of safety issue. :shrug:

I just got through. I called the Residential Verizon # that was on that page and just kept pressing 0 until someone picked up. :notworthy:

Too far north of Ridge and too far south of LP City. I guess you could say in the middle of no where. :banghead:

We never loose the phone but on this thursday we lost our DSL. we use a different provider so that may explain why we wasn't effected till now..

9/12/06- Verizon No Show
9/13/06- Verizon Showed But Only To Put Line Back On Poll
9/16/06- Verizon Showed But Only Technician Came Out. Could Not Fix Underground Cable
9/17/06-Verizon Showed And Fixed Phone
9/19/06-Socki Still Have Phone

If they can get a phone connection at the box outside the house, but no connection in the house... the problem most likely is in the house...:ohwell:
