Did they have to fix something in the house?

No. The chick on the phone told me that I did not have to be there because the test they ran over the phone said it was definently an outside problem. Then on Friday afternoon I get a message on my cell telling me that an adult had to be there to sign. Dude didn't show up until 5:35 PM. Talk about a wasted Saturday. Oh, and there was nothing for me to sign.

We never loose the phone but on this thursday we lost our DSL. we use a different provider so that may explain why we wasn't effected till now..

Well actually the net died because of my dad's domb firewall. It kicks in and it kicks off the connection for some reason.

Ours went out briefly the day of the storm. It's hard to believe that there are still places with phone lines above ground, but then again, this is St. Marys county. We have been told that the chance of us ever getting DSL in our area (just north of Dameron) is non existent, even though there are places south of us that have it. WTF.

I feel your pain. We're considered Lexington Park and they won't deliver.

Sockgirl, you could have it a lot worse. Our lines are so weak that every single time it rains our phone and internet goes out.
