It's still honor but I'm sure if you read closely it's just for tow vehicles. Parking for picnics, shore fishing, hiking, etc I'm pretty sure is free.

Found this on the website, might be different on the posted sign at the park. DNR is not know for being consistent and accurate with this kind of stuff.

The day use service charge is $3/vehicle year-round. Out-of-state residents add $1.

If anyone is looking for a good spot to catch crabs, St. Mary's Lake is a good spot. I caught a bushel last Saturday using chicken necks.
