Dougster - if it was me, and I was affiliated with the church I would give what you think you can give. Or call an attending member of the church you know and ask.

If I was not affiliated with them, I would not give...

I would say more along the lines of using a shotgun to kill a mouse, but I like yours better...

I took it as an honest question, and I get a bit peeved when a simple question in here turns into a sermon - normally I stay out of here, and now I know why.

I was really really enjoying the banter amongst the more informed religious types.

Not many people like to give of their time. Some times it is good to give money so others can help, if you don't have the time to give of yourself. It depends on the situtation! I have done both when it is something I really have a heart for....God bless the people who give their time and put their heart into giving.

well I do not have much money to give But I like helping those that I can.
