St. Patrick's Cathedral

Larry and I went to mass at St. Patrick's when we were in New York and it was absolutely beautiful (and, no, I wasn't struck by lightening nor did the roof cave in )

So if you get up that way, make sure you stop in at least to see the cathedral, if not to attend the service. It was truly awe-inspiring.

I went by Duke University Chapel the other night ... talk about breathtaking! We were in the round-about, then turned onto the lane that leads to the chapel, and we stopped to just take it in. The lane leading up to the chapel is tree-lined, and the chapel was lit up with a dark sky backdrop. Most stunning and picturesque.
