Stacy Abrams Hot Takes

Abrams is making the rounds on news networks and late-night talk shows, and she appeared on The Daily Show Wednesday night (Oh, you didn’t watch it? Neither did I.) and made a bold claim to host Trevor Noah.

“We are a stronger nation when we allow people to participate,” Abrams stated. “And if we ever doubted that, the war that Putin is waging against Ukraine, President Zelenskyy said — I’m going to paraphrase him probably poorly — he said this isn’t a war on Ukraine, this is a war on democracy in Ukraine.”

“When we allow democracy to be overtaken by those who want to choose who can be heard and those choices are not based on anything other than animus or inconvenience, that is wrong,” she continued.

You want to participate, you want to have a voice?

Register and vote. It's just that simple.
Nothing can be simpler and no one is trying to prevent anyone from voting.

To have my drivers license renewed I had to take my birth certificate and 2 pieces of mail to the MVA.
Although I have had a drivers license for 60 years it was a requirement.

It doesn't take any such thing to register to vote and it's Bullshit saying that blacks are not smart enough to register and vote and get an ID card. That in essence is what these clowns like Abrams are saying.
Well if we look at it that way if they are too stupid (and I am not saying that Abrams is) to register and vote do we really want them voting?

I'll say it: she's too stupid, and probably has to have a white person show her what to do and how to do it. The black community needs to kick her fat ass off the island; she's making them look bad.

Stacey Abrams is challenging voter citizenship checks, but her expert witness just got exposed

Adrienne Jones, a 22-year political science professor at Morehouse College in Atlanta, was called last Friday by Abrams' Fair Fight Action Inc. group as an expert witness in the ongoing civil trial against Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and other state officials defending their voter integrity rules.

Jones was immediately put on the defensive by the lawyer representing Raffensperger and the other state officials, forced to admit to penning several incendiary writings.

One was a column where she called for black women to "overthrow" President Donald Trump. Another was an article where she claimed Republicans wanted to create "internment camps" for Americans, according to a trial transcript reviewed by Just the News.

Jones also had to acknowledge she made a political contribution to Sarah Tindall Ghazal, one of the State Election Board members that Abrams' group has sued in the case. The expert witness wasn't even aware Ghazal was a defendant.

"You actually contributed to Ms. Ghazal's past campaign, right?" defense attorney Carey Miller asked at one point.

"I did," the professor answered.

"And you are aware that Ms. Ghazal is a defendant in this case?" the lawyer asked.

"No," Jones answered.

Jones contributed a total of $315 to Ghazal's campaign for state representative in 2020.

Miller's polite but intense cross-examination was interrupted several times by objections from plaintiff's lawyers hoping the court would stop it. But U.S. District Judge Steve C. Jones declined, saying the lines of questioning were fair game.

"I think Mr. Miller is trying to discredit this witness. ... I think he is allowed to do it," the judge said at one point.

At another point, the judge acknowledged, "I'm assuming he's offering this trying to show me that, hey, that this witness is biased."

Stacey Abrams' Embarrassing Weekend

Last but not least, she continues to put herself in a position that makes it too easy for Gov. Brian Kemp and his team to not just attack her, but also to make fun of her. This weekend is a prime example of why Stacey Abrams has become such an embarrassing candidate.

On Saturday, Abrams went to Athens, Ga., to hold a campaign rally and speak to people downtown. On Saturdays in the fall, Athens can be a hopping town, with tailgating all over the place. The weekend before last, Kemp and other GOP candidates tailgated and hobnobbed with faithful Georgia Bulldogs fans.

This year, with the Georgia Bulldogs at the top of the polls and looking unstoppable, Athens is the center of the college football universe, at least when the Bulldogs are playing at home. On Saturday, the Dawgs were in Columbia, S.C., to take on the University of South Carolina.

If her rally was held at gametime, everyone was home watching the game .

Body Checking the Fact-Checkers – WASHINGTON POST

  • Your first mistake was trying to defend Stacey Abrams.
A video began circulating this morning of Stacey Abrams making a bizarre conspiracy theory that sonograms do not accurately detect fetal heartbeats and are instead misreading electrical impulses. She then took this further to declare that this was all due to a nefarious plot enacted by men to keep women pregnant. Yes, seriously.
As is commonplace when these stunted proclamations are made by those on the left, a call went out wondering where the fact-checkers were on the matter. Well, Glenn Kessler entered the fray – except he decided to take up the defense on behalf of Abrams. Kessler actually came out with a stunted declaration that completely stepped all over science and technology. This was because Glenn did not follow the science; he followed a previously discredited article from NPR.

MSNBC Analyst Presses Stacey Abrams On Struggling Economy. She Says, That’s Why We Need Abortions

“Let’s be clear: having children is why you’re worried about your price or gas, it’s why you’re concerned about how much food costs. For women, this is not a reductive issue,” Abrams said. “You can’t divorce being forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy from the economic realities of having a child. And so these are, it’s, it’s important for us to have both, and conversations.”

“We don’t have the luxury of reducing it or separating them out,” she continued.

Abrams said as governor she would have the ability to “address housing prices” and the cost of education.

“But let’s not pretend that women, half the population, especially those of child-bearing age, they understand that having a child is absolutely an economic issue,” she added. “It is a real biological and economic imperative conversation that we need to have.”

The best way to stop an unwanted pregnancy is to use some sort of birth control.
Don't these women seeking abortion know what causes pregnancy.?
Birth Control is cheap and readily available. Use it.

Final Stacey Abrams Campaign Autopsy: Raised $100 Million, Lost, Still in Debt, Stuck It to Staffers

According to leftist Axios (which pretends its an unbiased news outlet), after raising all that cash, losing the election — which she actually conceded, this time, as opposed to her first loss to Kemp in 2018 — the Abram campaign still owes more than one million dollars to vendors, as confirmed by Abrams’s two-time campaign manager, Lauren Groh-Wargo.

Even worse, the Abrams campaign stuck it to staffers. Imagine that. One former staffer said:

People have told me they have no idea how they’re going to pay their rent in January. It was more than unfortunate. It was messed up.

Hey, no big deal, staffers, relax! You do know that Stacey Abrams already has had her eye on national office for several years, right? So think of your efforts on her losing 2022 campaign as an in-kind contribution to her next losing effort.

Anyway, Groh-Wargo blamed a “cavalcade of negative press and negative polling” for the loss. (Doesn’t everyone? Other than election deniers, I mean.)

We did not just lose, we got blown out. It was the most sub-optimal situation to be in. And we will be dealing with that situation for some time.
