Final Stacey Abrams Campaign Autopsy: Raised $100 Million, Lost, Still in Debt, Stuck It to Staffers

According to leftist Axios (which pretends its an unbiased news outlet), after raising all that cash, losing the election — which she actually conceded, this time, as opposed to her first loss to Kemp in 2018 — the Abram campaign still owes more than one million dollars to vendors, as confirmed by Abrams’s two-time campaign manager, Lauren Groh-Wargo.

Even worse, the Abrams campaign stuck it to staffers. Imagine that. One former staffer said:

Hey, no big deal, staffers, relax! You do know that Stacey Abrams already has had her eye on national office for several years, right? So think of your efforts on her losing 2022 campaign as an in-kind contribution to her next losing effort.

Anyway, Groh-Wargo blamed a “cavalcade of negative press and negative polling” for the loss. (Doesn’t everyone? Other than election deniers, I mean.)

Where did the money go. It looks like she ate very well during the campaign .

Body Checking the Fact-Checkers – WASHINGTON POST

  • Your first mistake was trying to defend Stacey Abrams.
A video began circulating this morning of Stacey Abrams making a bizarre conspiracy theory that sonograms do not accurately detect fetal heartbeats and are instead misreading electrical impulses. She then took this further to declare that this was all due to a nefarious plot enacted by men to keep women pregnant. Yes, seriously.
As is commonplace when these stunted proclamations are made by those on the left, a call went out wondering where the fact-checkers were on the matter. Well, Glenn Kessler entered the fray – except he decided to take up the defense on behalf of Abrams. Kessler actually came out with a stunted declaration that completely stepped all over science and technology. This was because Glenn did not follow the science; he followed a previously discredited article from NPR.

Y'all be sure and donate your $24.00 to the Demonrats, and they'll give you a ball cap that says "I Follow the Science."

"Except when it doesn't support the Narrative" won't fit on the ball cap.

Her and Maxine should do a remake of "Diary of a mad black woman" it would make millions.

Stacey Abrams Just Went on MSNBC to Call You Racist and Sexist for Not Liking Kamala Harris

During the interview, Psaki noted that Harris “has been under a huge amount of scrutiny through her entire time in office” and asked if “she would be receiving these same critiques if she was a white man.”

Abrams answered: “No, no, not at all.”

She continued:

We will always question the person behind the person, but we cannot ignore that misogyny and racism remain very prevalent in our politics. For those behaviors that don't rise to either misogyny or racism, there's also just the difference. Our expectations are set for the traditional white male vice president.

A FiveThirtyEight poll published Friday showed that only 37 percent of respondents approved of Harris’ job performance so far.

To begin with, this is a line that Democrats have been peddling since it became apparent that Harris was an incompetent empty suit who was only given her position because President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats wanted a black woman as vice president. If anything, they were more concerned about her gender and race than the rest of the country, which simply wanted a competent person in the position.

However, folks like Abrams are in a position in which they can’t really defend Harris’ performance as vice president. Indeed, even in debates I’ve had with folks on the left, they can’t really give any compelling reasons to support her. So, taking this into account, it makes sense that her defenders would immediately deflect to Harris’ identity as a black woman and pretend her critics are motivated by bigotry.

At some point, there will come a time when leftists will alienate even more people by pretending that those who do not think exactly as they do are wicked, bigoted people. Indeed, the tactic may have worked in the past, but it appears the time is coming when using this strategy will only push people away instead of attracting them. There is only so much of this cynical tactic that people will be willing to take.

Stacey Abrams' liberal voting rights group lays off most staffers

Fair Fight is laying off 75% of its current staffers, or 20 employees, per Groh-Wargo, as the group is $2.5 million in debt with $1.9 million cash on hand even after raising about $100 million from 2018 to 2021.

The group has been involved in multiple long, unsuccessful legal battles over voting rights. In 2022, news emerged that Fair Fight had reportedly spent more than $25 million in legal fees over two years, with most of that going to the firm of Abrams' close friend and campaign chair, Allegra Lawrence-Hardy.

In one high-profile legal battle, the organization fought the conservative group True the Vote, which sought to remove hundreds of thousands of voters before the 2021 Senate runoffs. True the Vote narrowly won in federal court this month.

Is there a more overrated politician than Stacey Abrams?

Over the past seven years, many Democratic politicians have been elevated as liberal heroes of “the Resistance.” Perhaps none may have been more overrated by a loving liberal media than Stacey Abrams.

Abrams rose to stardom during the 2018 election cycle, hailed as the Democrat who could flip Georgia blue while running for governor. She ended up losing in a Democratic-wave year and claiming that the election was stolen from her. She refused to concede, and yet she was not given the election-denier treatment as Republicans were after 2020. Instead, she was humored all the way to her 2022 campaign, in which she lost handily.

But the Abrams hype continued past her loss with praise for the “voting rights” group she started. She was praised for registering voters despite the fact that Georgia’s automatic voter registration system was behind those increasing numbers. But the unearned credit was not the worst of it: Abrams’s group, Fair Fight, is now $2.5 million in debt with just $1.9 million in cash available. The group filed lawsuits to peddle Abrams’s fabricated “voter suppression” narrative and is now broke and laying off staff.
