Starting veggie seeds indoors

I started my tomato, spinach, bell pepper and green bean seeds. I will be transferring them to raised garden beds at some point. When do you move your plants outside?

Don't move tomatoes or peppers outside until mid-May. I've never started spinach or green beans in tray, always directly in the ground. Spinach can be planted now, green beans mid-May.

Agree with my-thyme. Spinach goes straight into the ground. When the weather turns cooler again in the fall, you can plant a 2nd crop of it. Beans need the ground to be warm; mid-May, definitely - straight into the ground. I grew up in Wisconsin, with a much shorter growing season and there was never any need to start beans inside. Cukes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, yes, because they require a longer growing season, but we've put even zucchini and other squashes from seed here in MD and had bumper crops.

*Hopefully* our last frost is gone so technically they can all go in now.

Wait until night time temps are consistently over 50* to put tomatoes in. Spinach (and other greens) can go in now.

Chris, weather.com is calling for a low in the mid 20's tomorrow night and a daytime high in mid 40's.
