Place YOUR bets...

Betcha he mentions Iraq and 9/11 within a sentence or two.

and he apologizes for messing Iraq up, but says we have to continue no matter what,

and there is no mention of Usama bin forgotten,

and he wants to work with the Democrats.

He always throws 9/11 out as his fastball, then Iraq is his breaking pitch behind it. The sad part of it is that the average American thinks we're in Iraq as retaliation for the Towers, when it's been proven time and again that the two are mutually exclusive.

Um, those would be the two big issues of the day.

If the UN would take care of their business, we wouldn't have *had* to invade Iraq. At some point somebody's gotta walk the walk.

News folks at noon said he would throw the illegal alien thing out there and that he's still not going to take any strong measures to keep them out or throw them out. Maybe mention citizenship with a little pat on the butt for coming into the country illegally. Wait and see.

Don't forget to hit the liquor store on the way home.
It would probably be a good idea to take tomorrow off if you plan on watching the whole speech. :otter:

Hey here's a really novel idea:

Why don't we all wait till tonight and listen with an OPEN MIND what the President has to say?

(yeah I know with some people around here, that's asking for a near miracle)

Is this speech going to screw up American Idol?

They could do both. Have the Idol judges there to critique the speech. If they're not impressed...he's gone.

I place my bet that no matter what he says you will only hear what your liberal filters will allow.

I agree with Severa listen to it with an open mind. I heard he is supposed to mention something about a Health savings account(HSA) for individuals and a tax deduction for it. I am certainly all ears for that number.

UMMM didn't the UN say there were no WMD's in Iraq????

Guess they did take care of business, we just ignored them.

NOT Politically Correct!!
IMO, 9/11 should never be forgotten, regardless of how tired you are of hearing about it!!! Throw that ball Bush... :wench:

Too bad there are no buildings higher than 5 stories in SOMD, have 2 planes crash into two 110 story buildings in your back yard, wipe out 3K+ lives overall and you may have something to remember for the rest of your lives.
I'm from the lower east side of Manhattan, my family lived it and we will never forget it. Fuk you people who feel 9/11 is some dirty word now... :coffee:

There are lots of people who live in New York city and witnessed 9/11 first hand, and they love Hillary Clinton!!!

They don't have the difficulty realizing that 9/11 wasn't caused by any terrorists from Iraq. Whats yer excuse?
