Motor Vehicle Crash: On Sunday, February 4, 2024, at approximately 8:25am, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack responded to Mechanicsville Road and Red Oak Lane, Mechanicsville, MD for the report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries involving two vehicles. Troopers and other emergency services personnel arrived to find the driver of the at-fault vehicle in serious condition. Emergency medical personnel rendered aid and the driver was flown by Trooper 7 to Washington Hospital Center.

Due to the severity of her injuries, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Casey Nicole Faulds, 27 of Mechanicsville, MD succumbed to her injuries and was declared deceased on Friday, February 9, 2024. Motor Vehicle Crash:

Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday afternoon, Feb. 3, in St. Mary’s County.

The deceased is identified as Thomas Christiani, 63, of Mechanicsville, Maryland. Christiani was the driver and sole occupant of a Honda motorcycle involved in the crash. He was pronounced deceased on the scene. No other injuries were reported at the scene.

Shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday, troopers from the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack responded to the area of Mechanicsville Road and Asher Road for a report of a two-vehicle crash. According to a preliminary investigation, the motorcycle, operated by Christiani, was traveling south on Mechanicsville Road, when for unknown reasons, struck a delivery van, attempting to turn into a residential driveway. Investigators do not believe that impaired driving is a factor in this crash.

Mechanicsville Road was closed for more than 4 hours following the crash. Personnel from Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 2 – Washington, based at Joint Base Andrews in Camp Springs, Maryland, responded to the scene to assist.

The Maryland State Police Crash Team continues to investigate the cause of the crash.

On 2/13/2024, TFC Posch responded to the Sheetz, located at 20760 Old Great Mills Road, Great Mills, MD for the report of an individual who had an active arrest warrant. Investigation revealed that Shanae Elizabeth Dorsey, 33 of Leonardtown, MD had an active warrant through the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack and was arrested. A search incident to arrest revealed suspected Cocaine and associated paraphernalia. Dorsey was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Cannabis and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia.

On 2/13/2024, TFC Black conducted a traffic stop on Loveville Road at Kavanaugh Road, Mechanicsville, MD. Investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Kendall James Buckler, 34 of Hughesville, MD was violating an active protective order and was arrested. A K9 scan of the vehicle was conducted which resulted in a positive alert. A search of the vehicle revealed suspected crack cocaine and associated paraphernalia, belonging to James Foley Somerville Jr, 66 of Chaptico, MD. Buckler was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Violation of a Protective Order. Somerville was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Cannabis and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia on criminal citations.

On 2/11/2024, Gregory Ross Anderson, 18 of Hollywood, MD was arrested by Tpr Stricker
