On 7/1/2022, Tpr T. Eckrich responded to the Motel 6, located at 21847 Three Notch Road, Lexington Park, MD for the report of someone trespassing. Investigation revealed that Jesse Erin Kuntz, 27 of Lusby, MD had been previously issued a no trespass order. Kuntz was arrested and a search incident to arrest revealed suspected Cocaine and suspected MDMA. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana x2, Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia, and Trespass: Private Property.
On 7/9/2022, TFC J. Powis responded to a traffic stop conducted by a Maryland Transportation Authority Police Officer on Budds Creek Road at Colton Point Road, Clements, MD. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed suspected Marijuana and a handgun. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Michael Anthony Shields, 62 of Piney Point, MD. Shields was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Handgun in Vehicle and Handgun on Person. Shields was also issued a civil citation for Possession of CDS: Marijuana Less Than 10 Grams.
On 7/14/2022, Tpr C. Baden conducted a traffic stop on Three Notch Road at St. John’s Road, Hollywood, MD. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed suspected Psilocybin (Mushrooms), suspected Amphetamine pills, numerous packages of suspected Marijuana, and numerous packages of suspected Marijuana edibles, all packaged in a manner indicating intent to distribute. The search also revealed a loaded handgun. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Tavon Dakarai Francis, 27 of Waldorf, MD. Francis was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Possession of CDS: Intent to Distribute Narcotics with a Firearm, Handgun in Vehicle, Handgun on Person, Loaded Handgun in Vehicle, Loaded Handgun on Person, Firearm/Drug Trafficking Crime, Firearm Use/Felony-Violent Crime, Possession of CDS: Marijuana Greater Than 10 Grams, Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana x2, Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia and Possession of CDS: Intent to Distribute Narcotics x3.
On 7/14/2022, Tpr J. Pope responded to the 26000 block of Jones Wharf Road, Hollywood, MD for the report of an assault. Investigation revealed that Tiffany Lynn Hancock, 39 of Mechanicsville, MD assaulted the victims with a shovel and fled the scene. Hancock was located a short time later by Tpr J. Barlow. She was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was charged with First Degree Assault x2.
On 7/17/2022, Tpr C. Baden conducted a traffic stop on Great Mills Road at Chancellors Run Road, Lexington Park, MD. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed suspected Marijuana and a loaded handgun. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Rayne Lamont Peterson, 21 of Lexington Park, MD. Peterson was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office where he was charged with Loaded Handgun and Loaded Handgun in Vehicle.
