Stay at Home Moms....How

We bit the bullet ten years ago to have my wife be a stay at home mom. It still is not easy living pay check to paycheck but it is by choice. She likes to be home with the kids and am thankful I am to give her the option.

That's hot

It is nice to have to option to work or not. 2 incomes can provide some nice vacation and toys. Then, as others posted, your kids will not stay little for long and soon they will be in middle school on up. Nice to enjoy them while they are small and you can still mold their minds.

You have to move somewhere cheaper. :jet:

You are right about that. That is why I gathered my cubs and moved down south. NC has a much lower cost of living, and for what I was paying in rent alone in Lexington Park, I now pay rent and all utilities and still have some left over. But in the meantime, if you are only making $300 a month over your operating costs, then working full time is not really the answer. Especially when you figure the time and energy it takes to pull that off, as well as the time you are away from your daughter. Without making any rash decisions just yet, try looking into things that you enjoy. Talents and skills can provide stay-at-home income, just beware of those work-at-home internet scams. What is it that you do now that you can maybe incorporate into a small at-home business?

My world as I currently know it will end tomorrow. After being out of work for roughly 6 months with my bebe, I go back to work tomorrow. I have enjoyed every second with my sweet precious little one.

I am sad. :bawl: Come hug me, please.

Well it is tough. Sometimes making ends meet on $220K a year is tough BUT when I get that $13K in arrears child support she owes me I am going to be high on the hog. :yay:

What are the chances of actually getting that money? I sure hope you are able to get it from her.
