If you went to a party for crabs, would you be upset if they were cold? thanks. also, any recomendations for crabs in lexington park, for pick-up for a party. has anyone tried Captain Pat's crabs or H Gass Seafood's crabs? they seem to be the closest to me. thanks.

I prefer mine with a side of penicillin.

I like to eat them warm, but pick them for crabcakes when they're cold. I can eat them cold but don't really care to do so.

I got a bushel of crabs from Captain Pat's for a party about a month ago. They were excellent!

Warm or cold, makes no difference really. Though if eating them at a crab house I would want them fresh from the vat and hot.

I prefer mine HOT/WARM.

I'd be upset if the crabs were cold...yuck.

Definitely warm, though you seem to have figured that by the other responses by now.



I certainly would recommend H.Gass if you have an inclination to purchase them pre-steamed, though depending on the size of your gathering (and ergo, the amount of crabs you'll be needing), it may actually be cheaper to buy them fresh off the crab boats down at one of the local marinas and steam them yourself. That way you can do a bit of quality control, and make certain that the obligatory can of beer is added to the pot.

Crab Lady comes out every Sat @ 11am by the liquor store next to Bank of America on Leanordtown Rd. across from Pizza hut.

Tom & Jerrys sells them in the Plaza over by Texas BBQ/Ribs Restaurant & Safeway on King St.

Captain Moes down in White Plains on 301.

Coming from Brandywine down 301 the 301 liquor store has a guy out there from 9am-3pm on Saturday & Sunday who sells medium males @ $10 a dozen..NO KIDDING!!!
