So anyone else listening to Steny's telephone "town hall"

Amazing how many people have no idea what is a federal issue versus a state or local issue.

It would also be amusing to count how many times Steny claims credit for something that he really has no direct control over.

That, in a nutshell, is all that Steny has ever done. To listen to him, the entire Pax base should be renamed for him.

The 'funniest' bits are the stump comments he makes about what he's done to 'save and grow' the base that describe actions, were they in fact truly undertaken by him, would be illegal interference with the clearly defined BRAC process. But he's always counted on the majority of the audience being ill-informed 'average voters' and he's always been safe in that assumption.

He won't be around much longer..but I hold out very little hope that his replacement will be any better; not with the way the district is so hopelessly gerrymandered.
