Stomach bug

Well, I thought I was going to get off easy and only have one child catch the bug...until this afternoon, I was sitting on the couch at my mother's house with the baby asleep on my lap. Suddenly she woke up projectile vomiting She's thrown up 4 times since coming home and in between she's just as happy as can be. She even manages to give me enough warning of impending that I've been able to teach her the proper way to worship the porcelain god.

My oldest got sent home from school today....That makes 3. I expect the school nurse to call about #4 any minute now.

If it makes you feel any better last year my 3 older boys got the stomach flu at least 4x's each. It was literally INSANE!!!

My oldest came into town on Friday morning. I washed every sheet, blanket, pillow case, comforter, pillow and towel in the house, along with all the pukey clothes from the baby. Apparently I missed a germ or two.

She puked all night Saturday night. Serves her right, it was her kid that started the whole thing.

And yes, that was one quick spreading bug.

Oh my.... if my kid comes home looking ill at all today, I'm going to lock him in the attic.

Too late, if he comes home ill today, you were already exposed to it this morning.

I'd lock the doors now and not let him come home until next week, just to be safe

Lucky for me, I leave at 4 in the morning before he ever wakes up.

Locking him outside with the dog sounds good tho too.

Boy went back to school today. I told him the sm8 had told me that according to her kid, who is in another class in the same school, my son's class was down to 8 kids yesterday....he tells me that that was incorrect, there were only 7 kids (out of 22) in his class yesterday... 6 kids were out today.

My grandaughter was one of the 7 kids that made it through without a problem and he she sits right next to your boy.

No, but it's affecting more than one school. When I went to pick up my middle schooler, I was complaining to the secretary about the bug coming from the elementary school and she mentioned another local elementary school with the same problem. BBofF is in the same general area.
