Is St. Mary's gonna get it? I just watered my new flowers, that's as close to a rain dance as it gets!

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northern Charles County, Md., until 3:30 p.m.

At 2:35 p.m., radar indicated a severe thunderstorm over St. Charles moving east at 25 mph.

Locations impacted include St. Charles and Waldorf.

Hail to the size of nickels can be expected in the warned area. Stay indoors and away from windows until the storm has passed.

It sure looks like it but I wish it would hold off. I had the top down on the car driving around during my very late lunch and was looking forward to having it down on the way home but I guess not. :ohwell:

Here in La Plata we got about 3 minutes of a major storm. That's all, its sunny and pretty dried out already. I spent more time preparing for the storm, than it actually lasted.

It's also known as the red or "plume" zone. What do YOU think?

Never heard of it, but if its devoid of storms, I'd love to live there.
