Flooding Rain & a Wintry Mix

For the second time in a week, a late-winter storm today will move into the East. The storm will spread a wintry mix of precipitation across the Northeast, while rain will push in the mid-Atlantic states by this afternoon before conditions worsen overnight.

According to the Severe Weather Center, strong thunderstorms will break out in the mid-Atlantic region, with the potential of damaging winds over southern areas.

:yay: He's doing the scheduled maint valve adjustment, a throttle body sync and sticking in a K&N air filter. Little early on the valves, but I figured I'd rather do it now than in April

... Minor coastal flooding possible late tonight and Friday morning...

Southeasterly flow will develop ahead of a strong cold front this
afternoon... coincident with a full moon. This will allow water
levels along the tidal Potomac River and Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay to rise 2 to 3 feet above astronomical predictions.
Minor coastal flooding may result.

Fort McHenry Baltimore... 5:13 am.
Naval Academy Annapolis... 3:35 am.
Cove Point... 1:08 am.
Point Lookout... 11:47 PM this evening.
Leanardtown... 1:06 am.
Goose Bay... 2:36 am.
Mount Vernon... 6:39 am.
Alexandria... 7:04 am.
Key bridge Washington DC... 7:21 am.
