It's easier to start a new tread than to search. Aps? Don't you have the GOAT helmet?

I wear one I bought from Aps, actually. Didnt fit his head shape properly, fits me like a glove.

On a hot day, being able to flip up the front is a very nice thing. Also makes quicks stops in the gas station for a soda or such easy. Wouldnt go into a bank with it like that, but quick stops are fine, Ive never had anyone look at me suspiciously.

The chin bar rotates behind the head so you can use it as an open face on hot days and has the interior drop drop down sun shade

How much do you think your brain mass and function is worth??

In the realm of helmets in most cases you DO get what you pay for. Look at the Isle of Man TT and look at what most of the riders wear (their lives REALLY depend on their choice of helmet), same with Moto GP.. or any motorcycle racing.

ARAI, and SHOEI are the two big names, and hard to beat as far as protection, and of course also hard to find a more expensive helmet.

After safety comes comfort (hopefully one comes with the other).. good fit, nice cushioning, quiet, GOOD venting!

I went middle of the road. Don't think I could afford a Shoei, or an Arai, but think my grey matter is worth more than $89 spent at Wal-Mart.
I've got a Nolan (actually 3) flip ups. Two with internal Visors, one with an external visor.

Flip ups are generally not as quiet as full face helmets, but do offer the same level of protection, and it's ALWAYS nice to flip up the front of the helmet at lights and stopsigns to get a little more air.
