You know....not too hot/not too bland.....the right combination of kale to cabbage....the right texture, not too finely minced, but not too chunky that it makes sandwiches too messy to eat.....etc.

Dang, this talk of stuffed ham has me HUNGRY! :yum:

Oh, ok. The right recipe of stuffed ham for your taste. Got it. I will say mine is on the spicy side. It has a nice bite when you're eating it but then quickly goes away. I like kale for color but I use 3 heads of cabbage to 1lb of kale. I also use about a 1/2 dozen hot peppers to give it some red. I chop mine by hand right now but have a decent food processor on the way. I think it cooks down just about right.

I've got 6-8lbs left from the ham I just finished. $8 a lb. If you are buying that stuff they sell at McKay's that they are trying to pass off as stuffed ham you will be pleasantly surprised when you see and taste authentic stuffed ham.

I ordered my stuffed ham from Lennys already. DB can't wait for me to pick it up Wed. so he and the kids can have a sandwich.

Okay, so I picked up a few slices of stuffed ham at McKays yesterday. (I'm a newbie to S.MD)....it was spicy (can you say caliente??) How does the McKays stuffed ham compare to the "real deal" or it is the "real deal"?
I don't know if I'd be able to eat a whole serving of this stuff without the
R-O-L-A-I-D-S.

I hope so, because I wasn't too impressed with McKays.

I wouldn't have figured it out without that PM you sent. I already had you down for two pounds, I should have two more without any trouble.

I just nibbled on some stuff ham that the Hubby got a lady from work to make. It was awesome. The first time i had it it was so nasty. I am going to have this lady make it for us for now on.
