Stuffed Ham

I don't have to even think about it.

Smorgasboard at my Sister's on Thursday and her In-Laws will be picking some up. Two years ago we both showed up with stuffed ham. Mine from Lenny's and Their's from McKay's. They were both great and gobbled up.

I just have to do the spinach casserole and mashed 'taters.

Add three different turkeys (deep fried, smoked and brined/roasted) and :faint: along with all the sides and desserts.

:dead:

See above. I only do the spinach and 'taters.

I will survive.

The Ex's Ex did give me a great recipe for a pumpkin cheesecake. I might make that as well just to add additional gluttony to the mix.

Thanksgiving...so much to be thankful for.

Aren't you suppose to boil it?

I admire people who can do it.

Wasn't it the boiled one that killed people? :jameo:

I was at a restaurant the other day, had some bad shellfish and knew to spit it out.

No names will be mentioned because it can happen to anybody.

Prime Rib

On this note, of food.

Giant has their Prime Rib on sale for 6.99/lb.

If not for Thanksgiving, it's a great buy for Christmas or another family gathering.

It looks really pretty and is in my freezer to cook up when the time comes.

:cheap: Not really but kind of. :lmao:

Thanks for the heads up! I need to stop in there for a few last minute items on Tuesday and will pick one up for Christmas.

:yay:

You know he never shows up so you could have said, "Sure! Looking forward to seeing you!" and gotten credit for hospitality without actually having to be hospitable.

Kinda like at OBX last summer. We probably passed each other on the road several times.:howdy:

I've become accustomed to being at OBX in my own private cottage.

I figure there are a lot of people there that I know. I have no internet and a sketchy phone.

Company for one night would be nice but I have learned a novel is a good substitute.

My reservation/deposit is in for next year. :yahoo:

This is when I learn about frozen dinners.

Yes, I boil my ham. I have heard of people baking it, and I'd like a taste of one done that way, but I can't imagine it's the same.

They weren't boiled, they were steam cooked. It was at Our Lady of the Wayside Church in Chaptico.
