Suburban Woes, No Goes

Transmission went in the suburban on Friday night. No 3rd gear. 3.5 years and +/- 50K miles on it since rebuild. Towing the troop trailer is what did it I am sure. Time to start researching and then gathering parts. Upgrading the 4L60 to a 4L80. Means new transmission, torque converter, re-flashed computer, splicing in additional speed sensor, new transfer case input shaft, possible new front and rear driveshafts. Not sure what all else. Transmission and TC will arrive on Saturday. If anybody wants to donate, feel free, cause I'm :nomoney:. If anybody wants to help, I'll take it, I'm planning to do it myself and have never done anything quite this big before.

Suburban Update:
I pulled the transmission the last weekend of December.
Gathered the last of the parts I needed to do the swap over the next couple of months while trying to find time to tear down the transfer case to swap the input shaft.
Finally broke down in July and had The Gear Box do the TC work.
Went to get it and asked what they would charge to tow the truck over and just do the work.
Had it towed over September 15.
I just got the call. It's back on the road!
Now, about those donations. Anybody want to make some? I'm still :nomoney:.
